JTBC has halted all filming after more actors have tested positive for coronavirus.
On Tuesday, JTBC announced that they have stopped filming 'Run On' after one of the staff members came in contact with another drama staff suspected to have caught the coronavirus. Other drama staff have been tested for coronavirus and are currently awaiting results.
As a result, the production team halted all filming for the safety of the actors and staff.
'Run On' is a film starring actors Shin Se-Kyung, Im Si-wan, Choi Soo-young (SNSD) and Kang Tae-Oh and is set to air in the second half of the year.
JTBC drama 'Private Life' starring actors Seo Hyun and Go Kyung-pyo has also halted filming. An official from the drama told Star News, "A support staff from another drama confirmed with the coronavirus worked as a support staff in 'Private Life.' As a safety measure, we have halted all filming and all staff have undergone testing and are currently waiting for results."
In a further report by Star News, new JTBC drama 'More Than Friends' starring Ong Seong-woo, Shin Ye-eun and Kim Dong-jun also halted all filming after actor Kim Hee Jung came into contact with Kim Won Hae on the 12th who was confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Heo Dong Won and Seo Sung Jong’s play, 'Jjamppong' revealed that 15 cast and crew members have been confirmed positive for coronavirus including Kim Won Hae.
